Join British Marine at Seawork2022, the leading European commercial marine exhibition, for information and advice on everything from membership opportunities, support and representation to career opportunities in the commercial sector and technical advice.

Taking place from 21 – 23 June, Mayflower Park, Southampton, the British Marine team will be on hand to talk to businesses about the benefits of British Marine membership, as well as giving visitors and exhibitors the chance to find out more about Commercial Marine, a group association within British Marine that works on behalf of its members to promote their interests in the small commercial marine sector.  A sector that consists of approximately 400 companies, supporting nearly 2,000 employees and generating revenues of approximately £182m per annum.

“It has been three long years since we were last able to gather at Seawork. In the intervening time Commercial Marine members have worked hard to keep the vital 24/7 activity in this sector fully supported through the challenges of the pandemic, Brexit and supply chain issues. We welcome this opportunity to catch up with members and look toward to the many opportunities that lie ahead for us all,” said Kim Hollamby, Chair, Commercial Marine.

Providing the perfect opportunity to meet members and potential members face-to-face, representatives from our Public Affairs, Technical, and Membership teams will be available throughout the show to answer any questions you may have.

British Marine will also be sponsoring the Small Business Zone, a showcase for up-and-coming companies and small businesses, with a mix of exhibitors spanning the entire commercial marine and workboat industry.

“British Marine’s support of Seawork, on its stand and through its sponsorship of the Small Business Enterprise Zone, places us at the heart of one of Europe’s most significant commercial marine events and we look forward to meeting with exhibitors, visitors and key organisations throughout the show,” Kim added.

British Marine will be hosting an informal ‘meet and greet’ drinks reception on 21 June at 16.30 on the British Marine stand (C39), allowing members and non-members the chance to drop by and chat with the British Marine team and network with fellow visitors and exhibitors.

You will find the British Marine Team on stand C39
