Bacchus Yachting & Sea School
Bacchus Yachting & Sea School is a new RYA Training Centre & Shorebased Classroom for Gosport and Portsmouth Harbour, in the heart of Haslar Marina.
Gemma, Colin and Lloyd, from the centre, all have a background of leisure boating with a wealth of experience afloat, ranging from large yachts to powerboats.
Sailing and boating is their passion and something they want to pass on in all the activities within the school. Their dedicated classroom is fitted with a range new equipment and modern training aids to complement the RYA range of shorebased courses. Within the centre, they have a real diesel engine, CPR manikins and ICOM training VHF sets. They also offer a range of Sea Survival and RYA home study online courses.
On the water they offer all the RYA training from start Yachting to Yachtmaster™. RYA Powerboat training can be delivered on their Ribeye boat or your own boat. They also offer own boat tuition.
A luxury Legend 33 yacht compliments the charter side from Bacchus Yachting. Specifically targeted at the family and couples market, their Simply Charter boasts an all-inclusive package that offers great appeal.
As well as courses, Bacchus Yachting are keen to promote access to sailing, allowing easy ways to get out on the water, with their range of sailing cub evening activities, sailing adventures to idyllic areas, ladies days and fast adrenalin days combining different craft.
