Honda (UK) will be busy at the Southampton Boat Show 2017, as well as unveiling four new outboard engines (not pictured), it will be showcasing the brands full marine offering including a selection of boats from partners; Highfield, AMT and Galia.

Honda will also be taking visitors on a journey through the brand’s ‘Engineering for Life’ philosophy. For example, grab a pot of Honda bubbles at the bubble wall where it explains how Honda’s outboards vent bubbles away from the propeller allowing better grip in reverse. Displayed throughout the stand will be plenty of these interesting facts which underpin this long-held brand pillar of using engineering excellence to create high-quality, user-friendly products with outstanding reliability and durability, in the most sustainable manner.

In addition, Honda Marine will be running a special show offer, where customers can benefit from between £500 and £1,100 cashback on its current outboard range from the BF80 through to the BF250. Visitors to the stand will also have the opportunity to enter a competition to win a Honwave T24 complete with a BF2.3 outboard.

And that’s not all, the purpose-built marina will also once again house the National Finals of the Honda RYA Youth RIB Championship – now in its 16th year – on 17 September, followed by an awards ceremony at the Honda stand later that evening. The winner of the 8-12 age group will be presented with a Honwave T40 RIB fitted with a Honda BF20 engine, while the 13-16 age group winner will receive a Highfield 460 RIB fitted with a Honda BF50 engine for their respective sailing clubs.

Head of Power Products for Honda (UK), Steve Morris, said: “Southampton Boat Show is one of the highlights of my year and this year is particularly exciting as we have a very interactive stand. Visitors can discover the World of Honda Marine from product development right through to manufacture and then go on to actually touch, feel and experience our diverse range of marine products. There’s lots to get involved with.”
