Icom Launch New Marine Radio Products at London Boat Show
Icom UK will be launching three new marine radio products on stand LB049 at the revamped London Boat Show to be held between 10 and 14 January.
Highlights of the stand will be the first glimpse in the UK of the IC-M330GE VHF/DSC Marine Transceiver (With GPS Receiver). The clever engineering department at Icom have produced one of the smallest fixed VHF/DSC radios in the world. The front face of the radio is so compact that it matches the size of a modern Smartphone. Despite its small size, the IC-M330GE has all the hallmarks of Icom’s stylish design, ease of use and performance.
Also on show will be the CB2000 AIS transponder unit which transforms the ICOM IC-M506EURO and IC-M605EURO to VHF/DSC radios complete with Class B AIS transponders. This solution will be ideal for all boats, including sailing yachts, motor cruisers, RIBS and tenders and indeed anyone who wants the enhanced safety of an AIS transponder and the comfort and benefits it offers.
Designed with an emphasis on commercial use the IC-M85E VHF Marine Transceiver with PMR channels is a high-class business waterproof marine handheld that meets both marine and simple Private Business Radio (PBR) applications (appropriate radio license required). Compact and with a robust modern construction, the IC-M85E contains features including built in voice scrambler ensuring private conversation and emergency features including Man down and lone worker function.
