If you are interested is racing your yacht then finding out what you need to know can be a challenge. Yet so many sailors enjoy trying to sail a little faster than another yacht going in the same direction. Chichester Cruiser Racing Club is running a seminar to provide an Introduction to Cruiser Racing, which could help you understand the basics and see what fun racing and the social side of a club can provide.

In a couple of hours the seminar will provide you with an introduction to cruiser racing. It will give an overview of what you need to know as well as allaying any misconceptions you may have plus give a chance to meet CCRC members.

This seminar is part of their 70th anniversary celebrations and supports one of the Club’s founding aims which is to provide full and friendly assistance for those interested in or new to racing.

Later in the year the club will also hold an open weekend though guests are welcome in any race. CCRC weekend races are in Hayling Bay, to/from Solent destinations and cross-channel.
