PlainSailing.com shortlisted for award
PlainSailing.com are on the shortlist for the ‘Best Travel Company for Sailing / Flotilla Holidays’ in the prestigious British Travel Awards!
The nominations for the British Travel Awards have been announced, and PlainSailing.com have reason to celebrate: the yacht and catamaran charter experts have been shortlisted for the ‘Best Travel Company for Sailing / Flotilla Holidays’.
The British Travel Awards are described as ‘the Oscars of the British Travel industry’ and recognise the pinnacle of excellence within the travel sector. There’s awards for the best hotels and cruise liners, but also the best travel companies for arranging beach, adventure, activity, destination or special activity holidays – or even weddings!
Whilst the judging panel have carefully curated the shortlists, the next stage of the judgement process is an online public vote – with anyone able to register to vote for their trusted or favourite travel company at BritishTravelAwards.com.
This is the first year that this award is being presented and PlainSailing.com are urging as many sailors as possible to get out there and vote, to show the industry that sailing holidays are an ever-growing and important part of the industry.
Tommy Tognarelli, co-founder of PlainSailing.com, said “Getting on the shortlist of the British Travel Awards is an outstanding achievement, and goes to show how far we have come over the last eight years. These awards really do recognise the very best people and companies working in the travel industry, and to be considered amongst them is a huge honour.
“This is a new category in the British Travel Awards – previously we were just bracketed under ‘Activity Holidays’ so we’re now calling on all sailors to get behind this category, vote for us, and show the industry just how big we are.
“Obviously, we are in it to win it, so we’d love everyone (both loyal and future customers) to vote for us – and they can do it very easily by heading to Pln.Sg/VOTE – it honestly only takes a minute or two, and we would really appreciate the support.”
