Hovertravel has launched the second of its showcase experiences, combining the fun of creating your own Easter souvenir with the thrill of a 20 minute hovercraft demonstration flight.

Loretta Lale, Head of Commercial at Hovertravel, explains: “Ahead of the flight, we are giving children (of all ages!) the opportunity to create their own souvenir coaster, repurposing some of our used hovercraft skirt. Using coloured chalk pens and the blank, black rubber background, you will be able to make your own design a reality.”

Following the crafting session, and an Easter Egg quiz customers will be taken onboard to  see exactly how the hovercraft works, with 360 degree doughnuts and a demonstration of its unique abilities and manoeuvrability. With expert commentary from the pilot, passengers will hear, see and feel the ultimate hovercraft flight.

Loretta adds: “As our normal flights between the Isle of Wight and Portsmouth are under 10 minutes, customers are always asking if they could spend more time on the hovercraft and this Showcase Experience offers that and more. By providing the opportunity to take a little piece of the hovercraft home, these self-designed coasters will be a unique memento of a unique experience.”

The Easter Showcase Experience is on 4 April, during the school holidays, but open to all ages, and more details can be found on the Hovertravel website:  https://www.hovertravel.co.uk/easter-showcase
