A brand-new festive experience for children is coming to Cardiff – with Santa arriving at the recently opened Lisvane and Llanishen Reservoirs not on a sleigh but on a speedboat!

With his reindeers building up their strength for Christmas Eve, Santa will arrive in his own personal speedboat across Llanishen Reservoir before sharing a delicious festive feast with his guests in the Visitor Centre Café.

After the meal, each child will have one to one time with Santa to share their Christmas wishes and will go home with a special gift.

Speedboat Santa sessions are available on selected weekend days between 3 and 23 December. Each day has three slots of 90-minute visits, with each offering a different menu. The breakfast session is from 10:00-11:30am, the lunch session is from 12:15pm-1.45pm and the afternoon tea session is from 2:30-4:00pm.

Lisvane and Llanishen Reservoirs’ Visitor Centre is fully accessible.

Cost: £17.95 per child which includes a festive feast and a gift. £13.95 per adult (must accompany a child) which includes food. Under 2’s free.
