THINGS TO DO

Southampton has a rich history from the Pilgrim Fathers leaving on the Mayflower (Mayflower Park is named after this), the old city walls, the Titanic and helping with the D-Day preparations.

The Sea City museum in the centre of the city is a great place to visit to learn more about the maritime history.

The marina has a discount card which can be used at the following cafes/restaurants, all of which are less than a five minute walk away.

The nearest chandlery is Force 4 at Shamrock Quay which is a 10 minute bike ride.

There is a Co-op supermarket five minutes away and stocks all the usual produce needed for the weekend.

A bus goes from the quay to the railway station stopping at a number of places on its route through the city.

There is a taxi rank outside of the Red Jet Terminal, which can be found next to the marina.

RECOMMENDATION

“Town Quay Marina has been my marina of choice for the past four years when deciding on a venue to run my charity days from. The facilities are superb and easy to get to being in the heart of Southampton. The marina has a wonderful atmosphere and the friendly team cannot do enough to help you.”
