HydroMerino Base Layer
For sailors wanting to stay warm, dry and active in the same clothes day in, day out, Zhik’s HydroMerino base layer could be the solution. HydroMerino is a new composite material, resulting from development with the Dongfeng Race Team during the Volvo Ocean Race 2017-18. The team wanted a warmer Merino base layer, with high wicking performance. Available in a top and long pants in unisex sizes, HydroMerino is high stretch for comfort, with external stitching to reduce skin chafe for prolonged periods of wear. Water repellent Avlare fabric is used at the cuffs and ankles to keep limbs dry.
